 Mobile World in Malaysia reported that HP has introduced four compact consumer notebooks recently and they are the HP Pavilion dv4, Compaq Presario CQ20, Compaq Presario CQ45 and Compaq Presario CQ40.
The HP Pavilion series comes with a Mesh Imprint finish, metalised surface design and “magical chrome” media runway that provides access to photos, movies and music. It is also built with HP’s ProtectSmart hard drive protection that automatically stops the hard drive from spinning when it detects sudden movement, preventing it from losing data.
The Compaq Presario notebooks sports attractive designs in an array of sizes and configurations. The CQ20 is a HP Designed in Asia for Asia (DIAFA) product, will be uniquely available to Asia Pacific.
All HP consumer notebooks are designed to protect the environment, with energy-efficient features and select materials for easier recycling. HP has also set a goal to remove all mercury – a potentially hazardous substance commonly found in notebook screens – from its entire notebook line by the end of 2010. Source-Mobile World Magazine
