TeleCommunication Systems Receives $14.9 Million Order From U.S. Army PDF Print E-mail

TeleCommunication Systems, Inc. (TCS) (NASDAQ: TSYS) announced that it has received a $14.9 million contract order from the U.S. Army to provide Transportable Ground Receive Suites and related spare parts to support the Global Broadcast Service (GBS).

This award was made under the Army's $5 billion World-Wide Satellite Systems (WWSS) Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract vehicle in support of the Program Manager for the Warfighter Information Network - Tactical (PM WIN-T). Shipments are expected to begin in the fourth quarter of 2009 and continue through the third quarter of 2010.
